Louisiana native PAYTON SMITH is known for his impeccable self-taught guitar skills and has amassed over 36 million streams worldwide with songs like “What It Meant To Lose You” and “Like I Knew You Would.” The 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist, who MusicRow named to their Next Big Thing Class of 2021, most recently released a new track called “This Ain’t That Song” via Big Machine Records. Payton played every part on his debut project just like his favorite guitar icons across the sonic landscape. Certain that his peers have equally varied musical tastes, the rising star brings a hybrid of his influences to the genre – every bit as much a fan of Pearl Jam and John Mayer as he is Clint Black and George Strait. Taste of Country featured him as one of 2020’s Hottest Country Artists Under 25 and CMT slated Payton as a 2020/2021 Listen Up artist.

The Heart Strings for Hope concert will raise funds to support mental health care, while providing hope and healing through music. This one-of-a-kind event features performances from artists across multiple genres of music, including Payton, Tim McGraw, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, LeAnn Rimes, Mat Kearney, Jordan Fisher and more hosted by Grammy Award winning Country artist Bryan White.

The event can be streamed on https://vye.live/; concert will be available for 48 hours after viewing

Pay-what-you-can tickets ($10, $25, $50 per household) and donations made through https://vye.live/ will jointly benefit MultiCare Inland Northwest Foundation and MusiCares®, a charity founded by the Recording Academy. The Foundation will use the proceeds to elevate and expand access to care for Behavioral Health services for local patients in the Inland Northwest region. MusiCares will use the proceeds to support mental health care in the music community across the nation.
