Nashville, Tenn., —  Drew Baldridge has announced NubAbility Athletics Foundation as the “WERD of the Month” for May 2018.  Chosen for its “game-changer” motto, NubAbility is dedicated to coaching kids with limb loss get off the bench and into the game of mainstreamed organized sports through their nationwide specialized camps that focus on adaptive techniques for children from the ages of 4-17.

“Being named the ‘WERD of the Month’ is such an honor as donations are very much needed so we can bring even more opportunities to serve limb different kids,” said Sheila Trznadel, Executive Director NubAbility Athletics Foundation. “NubAbility Athletics is a Faith-based camp where God has brought us many opportunities to make a difference. We want to find and serve as many limb different children as possible. We offer over 20 sports and have over 60 amazing coaches who are also limb different and teach the kids to play their best with less.  We show these kids there are no limits and we all can overcome adversity. Philippians 4:13 ‘I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.’”

Co-founded by Sam Kuhnert who is partially missing his right hand, NubAbility’s first camp was held in 2012 with 20 limb different kids and grew to over 160 children in 2017.  Over the years, they have helped thousands of children with six camps held throughout the United States.  Although the foundation knows no limits, they rely completely on donations.  As their funding grows, so will their camp locations, frequency, and offerings.

This weekend, NubAbility is hosting their Music City Camp in Nashville, TN with a kick-off fundraising event held Thursday, April 26 at the downtown Tin Roof with 10% of all food and beverage sales to be donated to the worthy cause.  The camp will begin Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29.  For more information on the Music City Camp visit HERE.

WERD was created by Baldridge to inspire his fans to Win, Encourage, Rejoice, Daily.  Each month a new charity is selected with all proceeds raised from WERD T-shirt sales at shows and online merchandise store to be donated to the charity of the month.
