NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country newcomer Noah Hicks has teamed up with fellow country artists, Travis Denning and Jon Langston, to go “Drinkin’ In A College Town,” with new video out today. The boozy video, directed by Wales Toney, premiered yesterday (8/25) with Sounds Like Nashville who praised that the “video clearly captures the feeling of a high-energy Southern college party.”Fueled by the good old days nostalgia, the rowdy anthem fuses together the Georgia natives’ vocals flawlessly and serves as “a fun summer jam” (People.com). Hicks is hitting the road for the rest of the year, including opening select dates for Langston.

“Man, shooting the video was insane,” says Hicks. “Jon and Trav really showed up and put it all out there and kept that intensity up. Those guys are badass. The rest of the crew that came out to be in it are all friends, or friends of friends—we just had fun. Kinda felt like a Friday night tailgate with the homies because it basically was.”

“I had a good time shooting the video with Noah & Travis,” adds Langston (32 Bridge Entertainment/EMI Records Nashville). “It took me back to my college days.”

“Noah is one of my favorite new artists coming up,” Denning (Mercury Nashville) shares. “I feel like we’re cut from the same cloth, grew up the same, and he’s country as hell. I was happy to sing on a party song with him and one of my best friends, Jon Langston.”

“Drinkin’ In A College Town” kicks off the second volume of a series of releases Hicks and his label, RED Creative Records, have coined ‘Shot & Chaser’ – dual singles consisting of a collaboration and a solo performance released back-to-back. The Chaser, “I Can Tell Your Small Town,” co-written with Will Bundy and Brad Clawson, released earlier this month. Shot & Chaser No. 1 launched with “No More of ‘Em,” which features legendary songwriter Rhett Akins, and premiered last month with Taste of Country and The Boot, who called the tune “…both nostalgic and grateful, for an idyllic life full of moments and memories fit for a country song.” Watch the accompanying video here. With a driving, almost desperate drum beat playing backbone to the song, “Miss You Back” (the Chaser) details life since losing love – and tries to summon an old flame back.
