NASHVILLE, Tenn. – “Adam Sanders is getting by with a little help from his friends (Sounds Like Nashville)” as he releases his brand new single, “Ruled The World,” featuring Hunter Phelps, Ray Fulcher, Cash Campbell, Faren Rachels, Josh Mirenda, Mitch Rossell and Drew Parker. With “Ruled The World,” Sanders “embraces his country roots on the infectious tune, which has the Florida native singing about the laws he’d instate if he ruled the world (Billboard).” “Ruled The World” is available across all music platforms today along with the video that stars Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Tippin and Shenandoah’s Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire. Billboard exclusively premiered the “feel-good” video which finds Sanders, the seven featured singer-songwriters and his musical heroes immersed in a rural political debate setting. “My favorite memory from the shoot is an accumulation of a lot of conversations throughout the day. Each artist featured, including Tracy, Aaron, Marty, and Mike, mentioned to me at some point that shooting this video was one of, if not the coolest thing, they had been a part of in their careers. And for me, that was the ultimate compliment. ‘Ruled The World’ was born from the idea of having fun and doing something for the love of it, and that we accomplished,” shared Sanders.

Sounds Like Nashville and One Country exclusively premiered behind-the-scenes content from the shoot leading up to the video’s release. The No. 1 singer-songwriter appeared on 650 AM WSM’s “Coffee, Country & Cody” earlier this week to chat about the release and will perform the 10 Minute Tune on NASH-FM’s “The Ty Bentli Show” next Tuesday, Feb. 25. On Friday, March 13, Sanders will also perform “Ruled The World” on WSMV’s “Today in Nashville.”

The Lake City, Fla. native moved to Nashville in 2009 where he worked construction to pay the bills while developing his chops as a songwriter. Sanders earned his first No. 1 hit in 2015 with Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” which was quickly followed by another No. 1 with Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night.” After learning how to craft a song that was right in the pocket for country radio, Sanders embarked on his artist career. As an independent artist, he has sold over 70,000 singles, scored over 70 million Spotify streams and charted at No. 33 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart with his self-titled, debut EP.
