My One And Only Release Self-Titled Sophomore Album

Nashville’s Americana duo ‘MY ONE AND ONLY’ have released their sophomore self-titled project to all major online retailers. The album was self-produced and features all original songs by the duo – husband and wife Ben and Kassie Wilson.

“This album is a true representation of who we are as a musical force….the passion, the live-feel, the messages” Ben said.

My One And Only, winner of the Music Row Magazine DISCOVERY AWARD (by acclaimed music critic Robert K. Oermann), is self-proclaimed as “Southern soul with curious grit”. The new album features five songs and is described as having a raw, live-performance feel that brings out the emotional honesty of the songwriting. It is now available for download or may be streamed on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play & Amazon.

“My One And Only is an Americana band that oozes honesty through the music they make.  They are a melding of raw acoustic music with meaningful lyrics that paint a picture of their and our journey.” -Eric Dahl, host of Fox 17 Rock & Review Radio & TV

The single, “You Never Ask How I’m Doing Anymore”, is an emotional look at a strained relationship. The song’s sparsity, just guitar and harmonies at first, mirrors its message, and then forges on into an aggressive outcry for reconciliation.  About the new single, Kassie says “Being so vulnerable with the audience can sometimes feel insecure, but it’s something that we want to portray in our songwriting.”
