Musicians On Call To Honor Seven-Time Grammy-Award Winning Group Lady Antebellum

Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, will honor seven-time Grammy Award winning group Lady Antebellum with the Music Heals Award at an exclusive invitation-only event on August 9th in Nashville. MOC launched an auction on Charitybuzz where one lucky winner and their guest will meet the trio and get front row seats to the show. The private event is a part of Musicians On Call’s Half A Million Moments campaign, celebrating the organization’s milestone of performing for half a million patients, families and caregivers, and will be hosted by iHeartRadio on-air personality, Bobby Bones, and will feature special guest performances and appearances.

“Music is so universal and has so much power,” said Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott. “We’ve been able to share our love of music and experience first-hand how it touches people. It’s really special to see music help people get through really tough times, so we’re truly honored to be a part of what Musicians On Call is doing and receive the Music Heals Award.”

With more than 18 million album sales worldwide, Lady Antebellum has earned six PLATINUM singles, countless awards including Billboard Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards, while also taking home ACM and CMA “Vocal Group of the Year” trophies three years in a row. The trio’s universal appeal continues to resonate across the globe, as they headline festivals throughout the summer on the LADY ANTEBELLUM 2016 SUMMER TOUR. The Half A Million Moments Celebration will also honor outgoing National Board Chair, Scott Welch, with the Leadership in Music Award and will honor Volunteer Guide, Richa Chandra, and Volunteer Musician, Laura Eady.
