Video Shot At Famous Neon Museum in Las Vegas
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After last week’s NIMA wins for Best Artist and Best Album – both all-genre – singer-songwriter Morgan Myles dropped a vibrant video for her tune “Mad At Myself” today, premiering the video exclusively with Hollywood Life yesterday (9/2). Co-produced by the talented Jason Mater and GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter Corey Crowder (“I Love My Country” by Florida Georgia Line, “Think Of Me” by Chris Young), “Mad At Myself” perfectly paints the story of a former music industry relationship gone-wrong. The Neon Museum in Las Vegas was the ideal location for the video with Hollywood Life noting, “…the desolate-but-breathtaking backdrop…finds the award-winning country artist wandering through a maze of her own emotions.”

“I wrote ‘Mad At Myself’ while fighting for my identity in a very toxic career situation. The only place that was safe at that time was the writing room – trying to write out my frustrations and find a way for my voice to be heard,” Myles told Hollywood Life. “So when I first saw pictures of The Neon Museum, I knew I had to shoot a music video there. It’s just so visually amazing. Of all the songs on my debut album, ‘Mad At Myself’ seemed like the right vibe for this location because of its vibrate, more pop sound. But going deeper… lyrically, the song is about looking back to the past and processing what happened – I saw a correlation with these vibrant vegas signs that were now just a part of the past…”
Myles released her debut album Therapy earlier this year after a series of successful releases, including “Acapella,” “Knew Love,” and “…soul-soaked ballad…” (Taste of Country) “Whiskey Dreaming.” The nine-track album earned praise from the press, with Billboard musing “Myles proves her staying power on impressive debut, Therapy” and Rolling Stone Country stating, “The woman has got some serious pipes.”
