Moe Bandy Autobiography ‘Lucky Me’ Available January 26

Country Hit-Maker’s Debut Book Now Available For Preorder Here

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Moe Bandy’s highly-anticipated autobiography, Lucky Me, is set to release January 26, including a foreword written by former First Lady Barbara Bush. Told in Bandy’s own words, Lucky Me includes backstage stories of other country music legends, the tale of the duo “Moe and Joe”, his battle with alcoholism, his love of the rodeo and details of his 30 year friendship with President George Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush. The book is now available for preorder at MoeBandyBook.com.

“The main reason I did this book was for my great grandchildren,” says Bandy. “I wanted to give them a true record of the life that their grandpa Moe lived. The titleLucky Me was the title of my most recent album, but I think it is the perfect title for my life story. It really illustrates how blessed I am in my life and my career. I am so grateful to live the life I have today.”

Former First Lady Barbara Bush is thrilled to be a part of such a special project, saying, “You will love this wonderful story of a Texas boy who never gave up on his dreams. He and his music are true American icons, and we are grateful he came into our lives. When you finish reading his life story, you’ll feel like he has come into yours.”

The deluxe, hardcover Lucky Me includes 200 rare photos from Moe’s personal collection.

“I wanted the book to be entertaining. And I wanted it to be honest. I think we accomplished both of those things. I am very proud of it. I hope my fans will be proud of it. And I hope my great grandkids will be proud of their ol’ grandpa.”
