NASHVILLE, TN – Known as much for their eclectic style as their Grammy nominated sonic swagger, Midland is featured in the latest issue of At Large Magazine, on stands now. Vol. 11 serves as the outlet’s first music issue so the pairing was a perfect fit as the men’s independent fashion magazine hit the road with the ACM Award-winning trio for inspiration during a summer performance at Country Concert in Fort Loramie, OH. See the full spread here: http://atlargemagazine.com/journal/midland/

Adorning themselves in their signature blend of 70s vintage meets Country & Western garb, the unconventional trio invited writer-photographer Cole Cameron behind the scenes. The spread offers a bystander perspective that declares, “they may play Country music, but these guys are rock stars at music festivals.” Midland holding nothing back from the initial interaction to a casual fan meet and greet before taking the stage to perform their own chart-topping, PLATINUM-certified debut “Drinkin’ Problem” and current single “Burn Out” while also launching into Bob Seger and Alabama covers. No surprise to Midland fans, Cole sums up the crew’s experience with a brief anecdote and deliberate statement: “When we get back to camp we share beers as members of other Country bands pass through to shoot the shit. I text my mom that this is all I ever want to do.”

The piece is a reminder of why Midland is up for three CMA Awards – Vocal Group of the Year, Single of the Year & New Artist of the Year – as their true personality shines through at every turn. Gaining critical and mainstream appeal The Washington Post touted their No. 1 album ON THE ROCKS (Big Machine Records) as “the year’s best Country album.” The neo-traditionalists are currently on the road with Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOUR and will begin their headlining ELECTRIC RODEO TOUR this week in Tucson, AZ at the Valencia Amphitheatre.
