NASHVILLE, Tenn.—It’s been three years since Michael Ray last released an album, but the wait is over—Ray’s sophomore album, Amos, is available everywhere today. Named after his grandfather who inspired Ray’s passion for music, Amos promises to be Ray’s most personal album to date.

“To say I’m excited that Amos is officially out would be an understatement,” reflects Ray. “This album means so much to me personally because of the namesake and to finally be able to share these songs with fans is such a great feeling. Before the album was even out our fans were singing the words to so many of the new songs. It’s incredible to see them share their personal stories of what each new song means after hearing it live. Watching our fans living and loving these songs is what it’s all about.”

Taste of Country declares, “perhaps [Ray’s] greatest tribute to Amos is the music. The new album has progressive moments…but leans traditional in unexpected ways,” while Sounds Like Nashville declares that Amos was “worth the wait,” noting it’s “more than just a body of country songs – it’s a symbol of Ray’s growth as an artist.”

The album features nostalgic mid-tempo track follows previously released nostalgic mid-tempo “Summer Water,” “One That Got Away,” upbeat opener “Fan Girl,” emotional album centerpiece “Her World Or Mine” and Ray’s Top 15 single “Get To You,” which he will perform on “Good Morning America” and “ELLEN” June 4 to celebrate the release of the new album.
