DEBUTS NEW SONG “RATTLE AND ROLL”  VIA SIRIUS XM’S OUTLAW COUNTRY

CONFIRMED FOR THIRTY-SIX DATES OF CHRIS STAPLETON’S
“ALL-AMERICAN ROAD SHOW” U.S. TOUR

“Way Out West” is rootsy psychedelia in a late-1960s-early-1970s daze,
like the Grateful Dead dropping by Laurel Canyon.”

“Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives… constitute one of the most adept
and consistently exciting working units in country.”

“… one of the last remaining links to traditional country, roots music,
and the generation of greats like George Jones and  Hank Williams.”

This morning, five-time GRAMMY-winner Marty Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives confirms the lineup for his 17th annual “Late Night Jam” via Rolling Stone Country. Stuart and his Fabulous Superlatives will be joined by country music greats Margo Price, John Prine, Connie Smith, Chris Stapleton, Gary Mule Deer, The Grand Ole Opry Squaredancers, and The Wandering Hearts at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The show, in association with Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music and in support of MusiCares, will take place during CMA’s Music Festival week on Wednesday, June 6th at 9:00PM CT. Tickets for Stuart’s “Late Night Jam” will go on sale on April 20th at 10:00am Local Time and can be purchased here. Read full details about Stuart’s “Late Night Jam” via Rolling Stone Country.

Two tiers of VIP packages will also be available for the Late Night Jam: The Big Chief Special, which includes premium seating, a commemorative limited-edition show poster and a VIP lanyard, and a photo with Marty and the band, taken by the tour photographer. Fans purchasing this package will also have access to a private pre-show performance and Q&A at the venue, and autograph session with Marty and band. The Hummingbyrd Bonanza, includes priority seating, admission to the pre-show performance and Q&A, and the commemorative limited-edition show poster and a VIP lanyard. Both tiers of the VIP package will have access to crowd-free merchandise shopping.

On April 21st, as part of Record Store Day 2018, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will release Way Out West – Desert Suite (Trip One) as a limited edition 12” LP. (Trip One) is the first in a series of Desert Suite releases and includes some of the band’s favorite collaborations and B-Sides. This morning, you can listen to Side A off the album, which includes guest appearances from Merle Haggard and Don “Juan” Maddox, via Rolling Stone Country. SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country will premiere “Rattle and Roll” on Friday, 4/20 to highlight the Record Store Day release at 9am ET. The song is Side B on the album and is a never before released track produced by Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers) during the band’s sessions for their latest album, Way Out West.

Recently Stuart announced thirty-six dates on Chris Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” tour throughout 2018. Stuart and his band will serve as direct support for Stapleton’s arena dates including St. Louis, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, & New York City, and tickets for these shows are on sale now, and available here.

Stuart also announced his Congress of Country Music with a press conference and musical performance at the Mississippi State Capitol. The new facility, which incorporates the historic Ellis Theater, is equal parts concert venue, museum, and educational center. With over 20,000 invaluable items, Stuart’s collection of country music artifacts is the largest private collection of its kind in the world. Included in the new development is the Marty Stuart Center, an inviting setting where students can learn about the spectrum of careers available within the music industry. Endorsed by the GRAMMY Museum, the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and the Library of Congress, the Center will focus on using music to inspire learning, critical thinking, and self-expression.

Stuart and his band recently won the award for “Duo/Group of the Year” at the Americana Music Association’s 16th Annual Americana Honors & Awards. Previous winners of this prestigious award include The Avett Brothers, Drive-By Truckers, and Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell. In 2005 the Americana Music Association awarded Marty Stuart with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance.

Marty Stuart released Way Out West on Superlatone on March 10, 2017, and MOJO named it one of their “Best Americana Albums of 2017.” The album was conceived as a love letter to the promised land of California by one of Country music’s living legends, who has played with everyone from Johnny Cash to Lester Flatt. NPR Music proclaims: “Way Out West is Marty Stuart’s album-length paean to the myth and magic of the American West. It finds country’s stalwart neo-traditionalist turning cosmic cowboy for a journey through the Joshua trees, shadowy canyons and desert dreams that tantalize travelers with the promise of a golden shore on the other side.” Way Out West is available on CD, vinyl, and digitally here.

Marty Stuart is a five time GRAMMY-winner, platinum recording artist, Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the Americana Music Association, Grand Ole Opry star, country music archivist, photographer, musician, and songwriter. Since starting out singing gospel as a child, Stuart has spent over four decades celebrating American roots music. His teenage years on tour with bluegrass legend Lester Flatt in the ’70s were followed by six years in Johnny Cash’s band in the ’80s, and a chart-topping tenure as a solo artist in the ’90s. Stuart hosts a Late Night Jam at The Ryman, a yearly tradition which kicks off the CMA Music Festival, with recent guests including Dolly Parton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neko Case, Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris, Dan Auerbach and many more.
