With grace and elegance, spunk and determination, recording artist Macy Martin’s Texas upbringing has certainly influenced her sound – especially where it pertains to her voice. Her pure, angelic tone and perfectly controlled vibrato pairs with an energy and power sure to turn heads and hearts. Her years performing at venues, fairs, festivals and events (Miss Texas Organization, Ronald McDonald House, Texas Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics) local to her College Station, Texas home caught the attention of Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells (Dolly Parton). After a series of successful singles at country radio, Martin broke Top 40 on Music Row’sprestigious “Country Breakout” Chart, landing at #37 with single “Heart Sleeve Soul.” Last single “Broke Down” also hit #37 on the chart. Her new single “Take It Now” released to country radio on February 2 and is available now for streaming and purchase. Despite a hectic schedule that has her traveling the country to promote her music, she also spends time promoting her non-profit, Macy’s Toy Box, which collects new and gently used toys for underprivileged children.
