NASHVILLE, TN – Rising singer/songwriter Macy Martin represented Music City in the Charm City last week at Girls’ Life Magazine’s Fifth Annual “Back To School Fashion Bash” in Baltimore, MD. The yearly event for teens was filled with performances, a back-to-school fashion show showcasing top fall trends, celebrity meet-and-greets, giveaways and more.

Adored for her “contagious smile, bubbly personality and big heart,” (Celeb Secrets) Martin joined the stellar lineup of Annie LeBlanc, Jet Jurgensmeyer, Caroline Grace and Sage Charmaine. The only Country act, Martin performed covers of Hailee Steinfeld’s “Most Girls,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Miss Me More” and one of her new, soon-to-be released songs, “Make Up.” Before and after her performance, Martin enjoyed getting to know new fans of all ages from different parts of the country.

While balancing college life with her music career, Martin is currently in the studio writing and recording new tracks that are slated to release this fall. In April, Martin made her national television debut performing her current single “Take It Now” on Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family.

As she continues her pursuit of “finding her melody,” (Billboard) the philanthropist uses her platform and big heart to make a difference in today’s world. As Martin enters her thirteenth year with Macy’s Toy Box – an organization that provides toys to underprivileged children – the non-profit has expanded to provide food and clothing to further work towards its mission of “providing love and comfort to a child in need.” Macy’s Toy Box has proudly partnered with St. Jude, Make-A-Wish, Texas Children’s Hospital, Nashville’s Bridge Ministries and more.
