Nashville, Tenn. – In anticipation of his celebrated debut album This One’s For You, rising star and hit song craftsman Luke Combs joined NPR Music’s First Listen Thursday (5/25) for an exclusive advance stream of the project in its entirety one week before its June 2 release. NPR Music heralds Combs for “demonstrating current pop fluency and a connection with the sturdy contributions of previous generations of country performers” and highlights his “grasp of Music Row songcraft (he’s deft at finding new life in familiar idioms) and his instinct for humanizing songs with his performances.”

Breaking barriers and setting records, Combs debut single “Hurricane” topped both Billboard and Mediabase charts for two consecutive weeks – rendering Combs the first debut Country artist with a multi-week No. 1 since Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” and first new solo male to accomplish the feat in 9 years. In addition to radio success, Combs’ accolades continue to mount with nominations for “Breakthrough Artist-Writer Of The Year” at the 2017 MusicRow Awards and “Breakthrough Video Of The Year” at the 2017 CMT Music Awards.
