NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Critically-acclaimed, independent artist Lucie Silvas is scheduled to make her U.S. national television debut on NBC’s TODAY Show on Monday (8/27), timed to the release of her new album E.G.O., out now! Silvas is set to perform her highly-lauded song “Kite,” featured by People.com and Billboard.  Silvas’ “rafter-shattering vocals” (Rolling Stone Country) and “triumphant album” (Billboard) continue to rake in rave reviews with Newsday lauding, “A brilliant breakthrough…” and “…it doesn’t matter what you call this kind of music — other than great.” NPR noting, “the work of an assured artist fulfilling the potential of her grounded pop craft.” E.G.O. (Thirty Tigers) is now available (HERE).

“I am so over the moon about my TV debut on the TODAY Show in the US. I’ve dreamt about this my whole career, and it makes me proud to kick this new album off on such an amazing show,” said Silvas.

E.G.O. was highlighted as a collection of songs that, “…illustrate its wide stylistic reach…” (Billboard), and for Silvas’ voice, “…a soul-singing powerhouse…that’s deepened and darkened since those days on the U.K. charts…” (Rolling Stone Country). NPR First Listen streamed the album ahead of its release applauding a collection that “…depicts the collision of self-importance and insecurity from an earthier, conversational angle.” E.G.O. was also featured by American SongwriterPaste and People.com. With overwhelming support from fans, press, the music industry and artist community, Billboard called the album, “…a genre-busting, 12-song project that speaks volumes about the community spirit in Nashville.”

Produced by longtime friend and renowned Jon Green, E.G.O. reflects Silvas’ determination to pursue uncharted territory as an independent artist. Departing the U.K. to move to Nashville, Silvas immersed herself within’ the creative community in Music City. In the process, she teamed up with songwriters and musicians, and wrote about the challenges and triumphs that led to finding her place in a world, surrounded by so many people reaching for success, fame and fortune.

Silvas celebrating her E.G.O. album release on Friday with a free, all ages in-store signing and performance at Grimey’s in Nashville.

Silvas’ genre-defying talent as a Pianist and vocalist has led to performances with legendary artists including Tom Jones, Lionel Richie, Elton John, James Bay and Skrillex. Since moving to Nashville, Silvas has toured with Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town. Silvas is gearing up for a fall tour and has upcoming performances at the Grand Ole Opry (9/7) and at the Basement East during Americanafest (9/15).
