NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Lorrie Morgan is one of the best-selling female artists in country music history, who began her career with a record-setting bang, releasing three consecutive platinum albums beginning with 1989’s Leave The Light On followed by Something In Red, then Watch Me, which celebrates its 25 anniversary this year.

Watch Me, released in 1992, peaked at #15 on the Billboard country albums chart, and includes the singles “Watch Me” (#2) “What Part of No” (#1), “I Guess You Had to Be There” (#14), and “Half Enough” (#8). Also included on this album is a cover of “It’s a Heartache”, a pop standard previously recorded by Bonnie Tyler and Juice Newton.

Lorrie Morgan became the first female in the history of country music to achieve three platinum albums in a row. In that short time, she became not just a country superstar but a household name, thanks to such blockbuster radio-friendly singles as “Five Minutes,” “Something In Red,” and “A Picture Of Me (Without You).”
