Independent Release Receives Glowing Reviews Along with First Week Sales and Increased Streaming

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –  Logan Mize released Come Back Road amid positive reviews, a debut at No. 2 on iTunes Country, No. 20 on iTunes All-Genre, and grew his Spotify loyalists by 84 percent in just 4 days. The independent Big Yellow Dog Music release even debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Album Sales chart.

Taste of Country’s Sterling Whitaker says: “‘Somebody to Thank’ juxtaposes elements of traditional country music with modern production for a track that is both classic and contemporary.”

“‘Come Back Road’ benefits from symmetry in the production – a fingerpicked acoustic guitar and Mize’s serrated edge vocals give way to a contemporary, thunderous drum loop before returning to the acoustic strums.” – Rolling Stone Country’s Jon Freeman

“I have worked with, written with and written for Tim McGraw for the last 18 years. Of all the new artists I have worked with, Logan reminds me the most of Tim. I believe Logan will be country music’s dark horse in the near future,” adds Brett Warren (Tim McGraw (“If You’re Reading This,” “Felt Good On My Lips,” “Highway Don’t Care”), Toby Keith (“Red Solo Cup”), Keith Urban (“Little Bit of Everything”), Faith Hill (“The Lucky One”) adds.

“I can’t thank the fans enough,” says Mize. “I am grateful for Bobby Bones’ support, which literally gave me a launchpad. He shared my song and fans reacted. I can’t tell you what that means, and it’s reflecting in this weekend’s impact. I can’t wait to see everyone on tour this Fall.
