Little Big Town Treat Fans to an Intimate Performance For NPR’s Tiny Desk

NASHVILE, TN – Grammy-winning, country super-group, Little Big Town fulfilled a bucket list wish this past month, to appear on NPR’s prestigious and acclaimed concert series, Tiny Desk.

In the middle of Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook’s Nashville living room, the foursome dove into hits, new and old, along with some dialogue about each song.

Surrounded by their road band, they performed together for the first time since Covid-19, which was the longest stretch the band of over 20 years had ever been without performing together.

Emotional and excited, LBT kicked off the concert with the title-track from their latest album Nightfall, then picked it up with a rowdy performance of current single “Wine, Beer, Whiskey,” next the band brought things down with a quiet and raw performance of the 5X-platinum, Grammy-winning single “Girl Crush,”  and concluded with fan-favorite and oldest hit, “Boondocks.”
