NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Groundbreaking Country artist, Lily Rose, enters a new chapter of music with her all-new track “I’d Be You” out everywhere today, 6/10 before making her stadium debut tonight at Nissan Stadium as part of CMA Fest 2022. The energetic song kicks off a new cycle of music from the singer with an “expansive soundscape”(American Songwriter), marking the first release since her Oct. 2021 critically-acclaimed debut project STRONGER THAN I AM. Continuing her “confident ease blending musical styles” (Rolling Stone), “I’d Be You” follows the perspective of an ex coming to terms with regret over what they could have done better in the relationship after seeing their ex move on. “If I’d have gave her my heart / Instead of hell all the time / I’d be you,” Rose sings in the genre-bending new track written by Hillary Lindsey, Mark Holman, Morgan Wallen and Michael Hardy.

“I’ve loved ‘I’d Be You’ since I first heard it back in 2020. The journey this song and I have been on is long, compared to most, and I only love it more every time I hear it,” shares Rose. “The songwriters wrote a story I haven’t heard before in a way that sucked me right in – and Joey Moi sent the production through the roof!”
