Lilly Winwood Sits Roadside With a ‘Few More Records’ To Sell In New Video

Filmed out in the middle of nowhere, Lilly Winwood‘s video for her latest single “Few More Records” is a perfect reference to the song’s lyric “middle of nowhere, and I’m lonely as hell” where Winwood is seen setting up the proverbial roadside sale table complete with classic vinyl.

The song puts the emphasis on positivity in all the negative; the negatives of traveling, performing show after show, and the struggles with the negative.  The video depicts a lonely Winwood either sitting roadside in the hopes of selling a few records or at a picnic table deep in the woods, or making light of the burdensome task as she’s seen dancing in the woods with an imaginary witch figure, the symbolic negative force within oneself.  Perhaps it’s the masterful storyline of positive thinking by creating such a presence in order to depict positivity?

Whatever the thinking, the video has a keen sense of painting the picture that you can create a positive out of a negative.  Backed with the heavy guitar, piano, and an organic country sound, this video, out today,  is fun and infectious along with a positive radiant message.
