Hummon Joins Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project for 24 Hours of Reality

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As breakout country singer/songwriter Levi Hummon winds down from an exceptional 2017, he will be taking some time to lend his voice to make a difference, teaming up with Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project for the seventh annual 24 Hours of Reality, a 24-hour live global broadcast event to highlight the importance of climate activism, which kicked off tonight at 6pm ET.

Hummon will perform “Make It Love,” at 2:50pm ET tomorrow, Dec. 5 during the broadcast, a song near and dear to his heart which he co-wrote with his GRAMMY Award – winning father and late friend and songwriter Andrew Dorf. He joins many other celebrities, musicians and thought leaders from around the world, including New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, President of Chile Michelle BacheletEd Begley Jr., Mariah CareySheryl CrowEllie GouldingHelen HuntThe KillersTéa LeoniShawn MendesIggy Pop, World Economic Forum Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus SchwabShailene Woodley, and Calum Worthy.

Hummon has more than a few career milestones to celebrate this year, being named “One to Watch” by Rolling Stone Country, making his striking debut on the Grand Ole Opry, and performing as part of the sold-out CMA Songwriters Series in the U.K. in October. He premiered with Just Jared , “Stupid,” which is about seizing opportunities and taking risks (see it here), and is developing an enthusiastic following on Spotify’s Hot Country, Wild Country, and New Boots, all while his previous release, “Don’t Waste The Night,” is still featured on Wild Country and New Boots.

While fans worldwide can catch Hummon’s performance the 24 Hours of Reality streaming live on Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, YouTube and Twitch, fans stateside will have two more chances to catch Levi live on the road this year, at the Georgia Theatre in Athens on Dec. 8 and Louisville, Ky.’s Mercury Ballroom on Dec. 9.
