Visual Premieres Exclusively with CMT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country songstress Lena Stone “ain’t nobody’s princess” – and she’s proving it with a visualizer for her latest single “Princess.” The video, which was produced and directed by Logen Christopher of Stormlight Pictures, and premiered exclusively with CMT, kicks several feminine stereotypes to the curb, declaring Stone the hero of her own “happily ever after” and redefining the term “princess.”

“One of the reasons I named the EP Princess is because this song is so visual,” Stone told HollywoodLife, “and I knew we had to do a really special music video to go with the song. I love all the ways we got to play around with the themes of being girly and being a princess, but also acknowledge that at the end of the day it’s all just for show.”

Stone recently released her sophomore EP of the same title, which featured “ear-grabbing pop-country” song (Billboard) “Kids These Days,” “dreamy” tune (Sounds Like Nashville) “Personal Space,” and “grooving and playful” (The Boot) “Hotel.” “Princess” was co-written by Stone, Emily Reid and Kalie Shorr, and was produced by Dave Pittenger.
