Lance Carpenter Releases American Anthem “Great Again”

Nashville, TN – Chart-topping songwriter and country singer Lance Carpenter released single “Great Again” on Friday as an empowering reminder of what really makes America great especially during these turbulent and trying times and it’s already been featured on Fox News’ The Five. Carpenter was drawn to the song, penned by Brice Long and Justin Wilson, when he heard it and recorded it back in 2017 but felt now was the perfect time to share it with the world. During the quarantine, Americans have been afforded the opportunity to return to the basics and focus on the things that really do make America great like children fishing, parents teaching them how to swing a baseball bat and cutting the grass for a neighbor.

“When I first heard ‘Great Again’ I could see the bobber go under and feel a catfish tugging on the line. I could hear the crack of the ball on the end of my Louisville Slugger at a little league game when my dad coached me. I could hear my mom tell me and my little sister to hurry up and get in the car or we’d be late for school,” explains Carpenter. “I could smell the rubber of the tire swing and fresh cut grass in the yard.  It took me home and what’s more American than home?  I feel like a lot of us have let life get busy and complicated and it’s allowed us to lose focus on what makes America great. I hope this song serves as a reminder of that.”
