NASHVILLE, TENN. — Marking the only international stop on THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR, Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI made her headlining debut (3/20) in Australia at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, following a whirlwind trip around the world with her acclaimed sophomore album, UNAPOLOGETICALLY.

Jet-setting between C2C: Country to Country 2018 in London, United Kingdom (3/9), Glasgow, Scotland (3/10), and Dublin, Ireland (3/11), the Country music trailblazer hit #1 on UK’s iTunes Top Country Albums chart with UNAPOLOGETICALLY, as her new single, “I Hate Love Songs,” topped UK’s iTunes Top Country Songs chart. In addition, the cheeky ballad was added to BBC Radio 2’s esteemed A List playlist.

With her husband Morgan Evans (Warner Music Nashville) by her side, Ballerini’s return to Australia brought to life the “love” chapter of her thematic journey of “loss, life, and love” in UNAPOLOGETICALLY. She introduced “I Hate Love Songs” live at the 2018 CMC Music Awards (3/15), just two years after meeting Evans while co-hosting the same Australian award show together.

Ballerini then jumped to CMC Rocks 2018 in Ipswich, Australia (3/17-18), before headlining Sydney’s Metro Theatre (3/20). The night was filled with “Every. Dang. Feeling.” (she later remarked on Twitter), as the sold-out crowd of 1200 sang along to every word of every song of her intimate 12-track sonic diary. Bringing her real-life love story full circle, she also sweetly brought Evans onstage before “I Hate Love Songs.” Penned by Ballerini alongside Shane McAnally and Trevor Rosen, the  “fun, tough-talking ode to keeping things real” (Rolling Stone Country) is now playing on Country radio.

THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR continues stateside on April 3, for a rescheduled show at EXPRESS LIVE! in Columbus, OH. Notching 14 cities at capacity, The Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA, (4/25) is the only venue with limited tickets remaining. With major headlining city stops in New York, NY, and Seattle, WA, next month, Ballerini wraps her trek on April 27 at the annual Stagecoach festival in Indio, CA.

Vying for Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year (“Legends”) at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards on April 15, Ballerini is slated to perform live from Las Vegas on CBS.

Ballerini was also announced today (3/21) as heading back to the CMA Fest stage at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium during the four-day Country music festival this June.
