Outpouring Of Critical Praise Ahead Of Being Honored With The ASCAP Vanguard Award Tonight

Nashville, Tenn. – With critics commending UNAPOLOGETICALLY as Country star KELSEA BALLERINI’s “grown-up statement” (Rolling Stone), the Black River Entertainment recording artist introduced her tongue-in-cheek ballad “I Hate Love Songs” – from her brand new album UNAPOLOGETICALLY – during her five-star debut on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Friday night (11/3).

Dripping in vintage vibes of old Hollywood glamour, Ballerini crooned atop a gorgeous grand piano while looking effortlessly elegant in a silver Maria Lucia Hohan gown.

Tonight, Ballerini will be honored with the respected ASCAP Vanguard Award at the 55th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards before taking the stage bright-and-early during ABC’s Good Morning America live telecast from Nashville Wednesday (11/8). Beginning at 7 a.m. (local time), fans can tune in to see Ballerini welcome the Big Apple to Music City with a spirited performance of tunes from UNAPOLOGETICALLY.

The Female Vocalist of the Year nominee will succeed her morning appearance at the 51st annual CMA Awards that night (airing 8/7c on ABC), where she’ll contend for the coveted title. Ballerini will also unite with icon Reba McEntire for a legendary duet of her chart-rising single “Legends.”
