Kelleigh Bannen Debuts Official Music Video For “Deck The Halls”

Brand-New Christmas Tracks “O Holy Night” And “Deck The Halls” Receiving Rave Reviews

Kelleigh Bannen has released a brand-new video for her version of “Deck The Halls,” exclusively on VEVO.  The light-hearted video, shot by Dusty Barker, features Kelleigh channeling her inner elf by sneakily leaving her friends giant presents and adorning their homes with Christmas décor without them knowing.

“Deck The Halls” is one of two brand-new Christmas songs released by Bannen this holiday season – the other is a non-traditional take on “O Holy Night.”  Produced by Justin Glasco (The Lone Bellow), Bannen’s renditions put a soulful spin on the Christmas classics.  Both tracks are available everywhere and have been receiving rave reviews.

Rolling Stone Country says Kelleigh’s take on “Deck The Halls” “…pumps the song full of attitude and vocal power, with some swampy guitar sounding straight from those porches where December 25th is just as often hot and humid as it is covered in snow.”

Of “O Holy Night,” NASH Country Daily writes… “instead of going the traditional, church-esque route with her new recording, Kelleigh put her own rootsy twist on the classic Christmas tune,” while CMT.com says Kelleigh “showed she is one of country music’s greatest storytellers to emerge from Nashville within the last decade.”

The video comes on the heels of Bannen’s first-ever show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on November 27th, where she opened for Little Big Town on the final date of the band’s extended residency at the historic venue.  Her knock-out set was closed with a powerful performance of her song “Church Clothes,” which earned her a standing ovation.
