Brown Debuts “Worldwide Beautiful” on BET
Awards from Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium

Nashville, TN – Multi-platinum award-winning country artist Kane Brown delivered a historic performance Sunday evening on the 2020 BET Awards.  Filmed at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, Brown made the national television debut of his compelling co-penned single, “Worldwide Beautiful,” alongside Grammy-nominated gospel singer Jonathan McReynolds, who sang his hit song “People.”

With the never-before-featured collaboration, the “genre-defying”(Billboard) star becomes the first ever country artist in BET history to debut a song on the BET Awards. Set up as a musical dialogue with McReynolds and Brown in the “Mother church” of Country music, the collaboration also marks the first time in BET Awards history that a performance has been done from Nashville, TN. People.com  featured an exclusive BTS gallery of the performance HERE. “People”
Jonathan McReynolds

They are the best and the worst you’ve created
Loving and hating and opinionated
Loners in basements and those congregated
Deliver me
Far from the peace, from ashore I was sinking
Deep in the ocean of thoughts they were thinking
Don’t know what validation I was seeking
Deliver me from
People, people
When you said you could heal me from many things
Did you mean
People, people
Deliver me
‘Cause I can’t point ’em out
I won’t say their names
I don’t know the damage
Or which one to blame
It’s just people, people
Deliver me
She was the reason I smiled in the morning
He took the last bit of joy I was storing
That’s too much power for anything human
Deliver me from
People, people
I know you can heal me from many things
What about
People, people
Deliver me
‘Cause I can’t point ’em out
I won’t say their names
I don’t know the damage
Or which one to blame
It’s just people, people
Deliver me, yeah
The hurt are hurting
And the broken are breaking (breaking)
And the ones who had their joy taken away
Are out here taking from other
People, people
People, people
Forgive these
People, people
Heal me from
People, people
Crazy
People, people
Trolling
People, people
Self-righteous
People, people
Entitled
People, people
Hating, lying (people, people)
Disrespectful, forgive me when I’m one of those (people, people)
People, people
Deliver me

“Worldwide Beautiful”
Kane Brown

White churches, black churches
Different people, same hearses
It’s kinda hard to fight with each other
Laying down in the ground, six under
At every show I see my people
They ain’t the same but they’re all equal
One love, one God, one family

You’re missing every color
If you’re only seeing black and white
Tell me how you’re gonna change your mind
If your heart’s unmovable
We ain’t that different from each other
From one to another, I look around
And see worldwide beautiful

Thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God
Oh, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God
Coast to coast, city to city
Reach out your hands if you’re with me
Still got some work but we still got a dream
Every shade, every heart come together and sing
Oh, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God, thank God

You’re missing every color
If you’re only seeing black and white
Tell me how you’re gonna change your mind
If your heart’s unmovable
We ain’t that different from each other
From one to another, I look around
And see worldwide beautiful

One love, one God, one family (One family, y’all, c’mon)
One love, one God, one family (Worldwide beautiful)
One love, one God, one family (Worldwide beautiful)
One Love, one God, one family (Sing it with me)

You’re missing every color
If you’re only seeing black and white
Tell me how you’re gonna change your mind
If your heart’s unmovable
We ain’t that different from each other
From one to another, I look around

And see worldwide beautiful
Look around and see worldwide beautiful, so beautiful
Look around and see worldwide beautiful
Worldwide beautiful
Worldwide beautiful
Look around and see worldwide beautiful
