NASHVILLE, TENN. — Country singer Kameron Marlowe is making waves with his autobiographical heartbreak anthem “Giving You Up,” and now the North Carolina native has released a video to go with it.
Marlowe wrote “Giving You Up” alone and released it independently. The song has been streamed more than 20 million times.
“I had things I wanted to say,” Marlowe said of penning “Giving You Up.” “It turned into a song that means something to me and actually helped me through a hard time.”
For the video, Marlowe turned to lauded photographer and director Jeff Johnson who visually brought the song to life. “Giving You Up” was filmed on location in Nashville and is based on a true story.
“Working with Jeff and his crew was amazing,” Marlowe said. “I’m excited for the world to see a small glimpse into my life story.”
