The 14th Annual San Pedro Country Music Festival presented by Country2.com will be held September 22-24, 2017. The festival is the largest of its kind in South America hosting up to 50,000 attendees in the past.  The three days of music features acts from many different areas of Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Brazil.

Capogrossi was exclusively asked by Country2.com CEO and Owner, Gustavo Laurino to fill the spot.  “We can’t wait to welcome Julia to Argentina,” Gustavo said.  “It was so nice to meet her, see her perform and watch her interact with fans last month during CMA Music Festival.  We know she will be a wonderful addition and we can’t wait for her to take our stage.”

Capogrossi announced the news this morning on international weekly radio show Nashville Access’s Facebook LIVE with the show’s co-host Camo, during an interview. To view and watch the official announcement, click here.

“First of all, I had to get a passport,” laughed Capogrossi. “I was literally at the Post Office the next day filling out the form. I’ve never been out of the country and I am beyond honored for this to be the reason. I can’t wait!” She will be accompanied by three talented musicians including Cassadee Pope’s lead guitarist, Derek Bahr, Clare Dunn’s bassist, Reed Berin and Chuck Wicks’ drummer, Rob Mitchell.  Together they will play a full 60-minute set on the main stage of the festival on Saturday, September 23rd. The entire festival will be broadcasted live on the Country2.com website (GMT-3 time which is two hours ahead of CST). For more info on the festival, visit www.Country2.com.

This exciting news comes on the tails of a very successful summer for Capogrossi which she kicked off by participating in her first CMA Music Festival.  She performed on various stages throughout the week, met fans and signed autographs.  She also released her debut country radio single, Busch Light Budget and the official music video will be debuted soon. In support of the single, this firecracker songstress is gearing up for a tour that will include performances in various US cities at both venues and radio stations.
