Nashville, Tenn. – Joe & Martina continue to raise the bar as an independent act by achieving a Top 40 hit this week with their collaborative single “Give Me Back the 90’s” (featuring GRAMMY-winning artist and friend, John Berry) on Billboard’s Country Indicator chart. In a celebratory response holding true to their hustle, Joe & Martina expressed their gratitude for the singles’ success and surprised fans announcing their new summer jam, “Hometown Summer Nights,” before debuting the catchy tune live on The Boot last week. “Hometown Summer Nights” is available now on all digital platforms — CLICK HERE.

“I’m overwhelmed with the response that radio has shown ‘Give Me Back the 90’s,” said Joe. “From the second this song was written I knew it was special… but it’s a darn good feelin’ knowing other people feel the same way.”

“As an artist, you always dream that one of your songs will make it onto radio and you hope when one does that it’ll make an impact,” adds  Martina. “When it actually happens and the chart proves as evidence, there is an array of emotions… surprise, excitement, gratitude, and pure joy. We’re so proud ‘90s has introduced us to a multitude of new fans and can’t wait to share the next batch of new material. The first of what’s to come being ‘Hometown Summer Nights’ that further tells the story of who we are.”

“Hometown Summer Nights” was co-produced by Joe Costa and Ben Watts and is the first single to be penned together by Joe and Martina. The song’s lyrics came together fluidly while the married duo reminisced about old hangouts, bonfires, everlasting friendships, and better times ahead as they prepared to visit their home turf of Central California for the first time in over a year.
