Nashville, TN – Country Artist / Songwriter Jillian Cardarelli releases the Official Music Video for her new knockout single “What’s It Gonna Take” available now on CMT.com.
The lyrics and video take viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions that include heartache, desperation and struggle to move forward after a relationship ends. Written by Jennifer Fielder and Adam Wood, the single released with her debut EP, produced by award-winning female producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alex Kline, who has collaborated with and produced albums for Reba, Tenille Arts, Ronnie Dunn, Terri Clark and Mitchell Tenpenny. Kline was also recently listed at No. 6 on the Billboard Country Producers chart.
“In recording this single and video, I tried to garner raw emotions that this powerhouse song truly deserves,” said Jillian Cardarelli. “There are heartbreak songs and then there’s just heartbroken. You can really feel the hurt in this one.”
Her latest singles “Dropped” and “If You Had a Heart,” both had support from Apple Music, Spotify and Pandora. Her inspirational single “Strong,” featuring Charles Esten, was named one of 2020’s Most Powerful Songs by American Songwriter Magazine and “I Never Do This” was named Best New Country Song by Rolling Stone (October 2019) — all on the EP.
