Format To the Listening Room For 17 Sold Out Shows

NASHVILLE, TN — Since hearing the great news of his  being selected to appear at the prestigious Stagecoach Festival, Jesse Labelle has decided to do a series of events entitling ON THE ROAD TO  STAGECOACH. It will include special performances, a release of a six song EP, radio appearances and many surprises yet to come. To start, the Independent singer/songwriter will be celebrating the release of his six song EP, “Jesse Labelle, Part 1,” with a September 3rd performance at the Listening Room. The “Jesse Labelle & Friends” series has  brought Nashville’s Top Songwriters to the Listening Room for 17 sold out  in advance shows to date. “This show is special as the band and I will be  performing not only songs from the EP but new songs we plan to perform on the SiriusXM stage at the Stagecoach,” says Labelle. He recently  kicked-off his radio events with his good friend radio host Shawn Parr. The newly syndicated show “Across the Country” is currently heard on 35  stations and growing daily. After its August 8th kick off in Jasper, Indiana, Jesse and Shawn are making plans to do many more of these in the  upcoming months.

The six-song EP available on August 31 is a result of his focused time  spent in quarantine writing, producing, and performing some of the best music of his career. The track Flashback was released the week of August 16th to tease the upcoming EP. Heartbreak Songs will be the lead song of the EP coming out on all the DSPs on August 31.

Before the COVID-19 crisis, Jesse had been on a steady climb with a  growing touring career. Labelle has played some of country music’s biggest festivals including Country Stampede, Country Fan Fest and  opening for Jason Aldean, Big & Rich, Granger Smith, Rodney Atkins and then the ultimate career high in realizing a dream come true opening for  superstar Garth Brooks in August 2019. At the Brooks stadium show  he received an overwhelming response from the crowd.

2020-21 was a challenging year for Labelle, who lost his apartment in  the Tornado, had to cancel his tour due to COVI.D and recovered from a  bout with cancer. He spent his time in quarantine working on his music and  building his Team Labelle fanbase through his weekly Total Request  Live weekly livestream on Facebook and Instagram. Recent shows have  had as many as 6000 views from people all over the world.

Starting in December 2020 Jesse created a live virtual concert series for  one of his sponsors, FICO. FICO LIVE is exclusive to FICO employees,  customers and clients as a special private event. Once again Jesse  assembled Nashville’s premier songwriters, including Desmond Child, Liz  Rose, Bobby Pinson, Chris Wallen, Wendell Mosley, Lee Thomas Miller  and Pricilla Block to join him. The most recent show was the August 12th featuring songwriters Jimmy Robbins and Rob Crosby and his final show  in the FICO LIVE series will be on September 16th.

Labelle won the “Nashville Needs A Song” COVID 19 songwriting  competition with the song Looking Up, which he co-wrote with Rob  Crosby and Jamie Moore. The contest was a joint venture between the  Mayor’s office, Nashville Convention & Visitor’s Corporation and the  Nashville songwriters Association International (NSAI) to inspire  and uplift Nashvillians as they navigated the challenges of the coronavirus.  Another prestigious award came from his single Two Hearts & A Diamond which won the American Songwriters competition that had over 35,000 entries.
