NASHVILLE, TN – With nearly a decade of friendship stemming from their love of Country music and the Grand Ole Opry, frequent guest CARLY PEARCE and member JEANNIE SEELY now share another special occasion – celebrating their inclusion into the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s new exhibit, American Currents: The Music of 2018. Both generations had a first look when Jeannie recently surprised Carly ahead of its official opening March 8, 2019 through February 8, 2020, where the two admired their personal memorabilia on display. “Country music has been my life since before I can even remember – even my parents said the only thing that would stop me from crying as a baby was the sounds of Vince Gill, Pasty Cline, Alison Krauss and many more legendary voices. So it is truly in moments like these, that I have to take a deep breath before believing it’s real and to have a mentor and friend like Jeannie alongside me in life and this exhibit is something I only could have dreamed,” explained Carly. “I hold the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum and the Grand Ole Opry in such high esteem and am so grateful to be a part of this moment.”

Carly lent her Old Gringo cowboy boots with Swarovski crystals and a black dress, which she wore during her Opry debut on May 30, 2015 to the exhibit. “My mom and I were shopping a couple of years before I knew I’d have a chance to perform at the Opry. I saw these boots and immediately had to try them on, but they were ridiculously expensive, so my mom made a deal with me that she would buy them under one condition – that I saved them and never put them on until I sang at the Opry for the first time,” elaborated Carly. “I kept that promise and didn’t open the box until my debut. Since then, I’ve only worn them on that stage because they are a pure example of my hard work and parents’ belief and love.”

As visitors flock to the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, Carly will introduce her history-making No. 1 “Every Little Thing,” latest single “Closer To You” (Big Machine Records), and more to fans across the globe with her first appearances at C2C Festival (Europe) and CMC Rocks (Australia); respectively. The Kentucky native will also vie for iHeartRadio Music Awards Best New Country Artist as the only female in the category when the show airs March 14 on FOX (8-10pm ET/PT tape-delayed) and has been nominated for ACM Awards New Female Artist of the Year, which airs from Las Vegas on the CBS Television Network April 7 (8:00-11:00P, live ET/delayed PT).

In May, Carly will join Jason Aldean’s RIDE ALL NIGHT TOUR following her co-headline run and last year’s major stints alongside Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts and Thomas Rhett. She is currently back in the studio with long-time collaborator and producer busbee for a forthcoming sophomore album on Big Machine Records.
