NASHVILLE, TN — Three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year” Jason Aldean returned to his home state of Georgia on Saturday (7/21) hosting a sold-out crowd of 37,935 fans during his HIGH NOON NEON TOUR stop at the Atlanta Braves’ new SunTrust Park stadium. The capacity crowd witnessed “a tight, polished show that touched every facet of his career” as Aldean “dutifully played to all sides of the stage,” while “he kept the crowd revved up with reliable head-nodders” (Atlanta Journal-Constitution). Additionally, fans were treated to direct support from Hootie & the Blowfish as they reunited for Aldean’s one-night-only concert along with Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs.

“Playing SunTrust was one of those nights I’ll never forget,” said Aldean. “So many friends, family and fans were out in the sea of people and I could feel that energy the minute we got on stage. Hootie & the Blowfish, Luke and Lauren definitely set the night off right, and if we could have kept playing all night, I think we would have.”

Before he took the stage at SunTrust Park stadium, the Georgia-native announced details behind his thirdConcert For The Kids charity event on Thursday, Sept. 6th in Macon, GA, as he will return to the Macon Coliseum with direct support from Lauren Alaina. After raising more than $1.2 million from the past two events, proceeds will once again benefit Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health and tickets go on-sale to the public beginning this Friday (7/27). Aldean’s wide-open approach has made him a perennial live-show favorite and he continues to roll through the biggest stadiums, venues and amphitheaters in the U.S. with upcoming HIGH NOON NEON TOUR stops this week in Tuscaloosa, AL (7/25), Orange Beach, AL (7/26), Brandon, MS (7/27) and Dallas, TX (7/28).

He “has opted to not back down and continue working in the well-worn groove” (UPROXX) that has helped define the genre’s 21st century with his sure-footedness, which plays into more than 15 million total album sales, dozens of sold-out stadium shows and countless recognition from the GRAMMYs, ACMs, CMAs, BBMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more. Aldean is only the second Country act in history to score four consecutive chart-toppers on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart with his current album REARVIEW TOWN, with six of his previous LPs having achieved PLATINUM certification or better.
