DEBUT SINGLE “SOME GIRLS” CLOSING IN ON TOP 10

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Columbia Nashville/River House Artists breakthrough recording artist Jameson Rodgers will make his national television debut Tuesday (9/1) performing his debut single “Some Girls” on NBC’s “TODAY With Hoda & Jenna” (10:00 a.m. hour local time).

“Some Girls” continues its ascent at country radio, closing in on the Top 10 at No. 11 this week. The track, which has earned more than 80 million on-demand streams, is acclaimed for its “mix of masculine rock grit, country storytelling, quick-hitting vocals and tasty electro-pop accents” (Rolling Stone).

Meanwhile, Rodgers was recently named Robert K. Oermann Discovery Artist of the Year at the 2020 MusicRow Awards, proving why he’s “a newcomer to watch in 2020” (Taste of Country).

Rodgers also released his collaboration with former tour mate Luke Combs, “Cold Beer Calling My Name,” which Billboard praised for its “stomping rhythms, anthemic chorus, and layered guitars.” Watch the live video, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from Rodgers’ opening stint on Combs’ BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART TOUR and his own headlining GREW UP IN THE COUNTRY TOUR, here.
