In Honor Of #GivingTuesday, CMT Partners With The Shop Forward To Support Red Cross In Disaster Relief

CUSTOM “COUNTRY GIVES BACK” T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE NOW
FOR PURCHASE WITH PROCEEDS GOING TO RED CROSS

NASHVILLE, TN – In honor of #GivingTuesday, CMT announced today a partnership with The Shop Forward to raise funds for The American Red Cross providing much-needed disaster relief across the country. With the recent wildfires in California and hurricanes in the Southeast, millions of country fans have been affected, so CMT worked to create a custom Country Gives Back tee and is making it available for sale. The tee-shirts are $26 with the proceeds benefiting the Red Cross to help with recovery efforts and other crises. The shirts are now available for purchase at CMTOneCountry.com and TheShopForward until December 14.

“Many people throughout the country have suffered from the devastating hurricanes and fires and we wanted to create a new way for people to help the Red Cross provide critical response and recovery,” says Rachael Wall, manager Public Affairs, CMT. “’Country Gives Back’ is really emblematic of how our community helps others in time of need and the shirts are a great way to give back during this holiday season.”

“Our goal is to raise as much support as possible for charities around the globe, so we were thrilled to partner with CMT on these custom shirts,” said Meri Barnes, Founder of The Shop Forward. “Using CMT’s ‘Country Gives Back’ message to help country fans and their families in need through the American Red Cross is a smart way to drive awareness that help is still needed for area disasters.”

In association with CMT One Country, “Country Gives Back” is an ongoing monthly series on “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” which highlights the causes that the country community supports and its impact on people across the country. Recent segments have included Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour, and Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley rebuilding in his home town after Hurricane Michael. “CMT Hot 20 Countdown” airs Saturdays and Sundays at 9 am ET/PT.
