Hudson Valley Releases ‘Fire’ Old Dominion Cover

New Single // Available Now

NASHVILLE, TN  –  Fiery, female-fronted band Hudson Valley ignites country music with their rock and pop-punk infused cover of Old Dominion’s “Shut Me Up” – a rendition-turned-single, available everywhere now. The foursome expertly converts the song into an electrifying country-rock track, showcasing their undeniable talent and full-throttle sound.

When asked if Old Dominion has heard the track, lead singer Sarah Owens replied, “Well, we sent it to Old Dominion before it was mastered and they said “it’s fire” so we’re pretty happy about that!”

A musical supernova, the Hudson Valley band is far from your run-of-the-mill country act. They are stars, bringing their individual influences from pop-punk, rock and country to create a dynamic, eccentric sound exclusively their own.

“We have been playing ‘Shut Me Up’ as part of our live shows since we formed the band,” says Sarah Owens, lead singer of Hudson Valley. “We’re big Old Dominion fans, and so many people thought it was an original of ours that we decided to cut our version of it in the studio when we weren’t out playing because of the pandemic.”

Hudson Valley’s “Shut Me Up” is now available on all platforms [https://lnk.fu.ga/hudsonvalley_shutmeup]. Listen to it now on YouTube: https://youtu.be/w7tGThHsIU4For more on Hudson Valley, including new releases and show dates, visit www.hudsonvalleyband.com.
