NASHVILLE, TENN. – All-vocal Country stars Home Free salute the red, white and blue today with the release of their patriotic album of star-studded American favorites, LAND OF THE FREE (Home Free Records).

Waving a flag of freedom and unity on 10 special tracks, the album delivers a vocal-only soundtrack for the spirit of the nation. Star-spangled covers, a cast of all-American co-stars and one standout original (co-written by the group’s bass singer Tim Foust) combine, as the globally renowned group celebrates the LAND OF THE FREE in majestic multi-layer harmony – ringing in a memorable Fourth of July like only they can.

“We are absolutely thrilled to finally have LAND OF THE FREE out in the world,” says the group’s high tenor, Austin Brown. “It’s been a long time coming, and we truly believe in its message. This country is a patchwork of cultures and shared livelihoods. Despite our differences, this nation is such a remarkable place to be, and we are so lucky to call it home.”

Notable covers include Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.” and Brooks & Dunn’s “Only In America,” while folk star Don McLean joins in for a unique rendition of his iconic hit, “American Pie,” which recently nabbed three Telly Awards. Likewise, Home Free have already shared a role-reversing cover of The Chicks’ “Travelin’ Soldier,” as well as their stirring collaboration with Lee Greenwood + The United States Air Force Band on Greenwood’s classic “God Bless the U.S.A.” – another award-winning cover that scored Bronze in the Most Viral category at this year’s Telly Awards.
