Latest Cover Video Premiered Exclusively On Sounds Like Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN – As Rolling Stone Country puts it, “any Home Free fan will attest, the fun of following the vocal group is wondering what popular song the quintet is going to cover next,” and the all-vocal sensation does not disappoint with their latest cover video — a sentimental rendition of Ed Sheeran’s hit “Castle on the Hill.”

The video exclusively premiered Friday morning (7/28) on Sounds Like NashvilleView it here.

Shot in Cottage Grove, Oregon, by longtime collaborator Jimmy Bates, the picturesque clip perfectly captures the tune’s nostalgic spirit. Set against rustic, natural backdrops and small-town scenery, the quintet narrates a rambunctious young couple’s carefree summer romance, full of love and laughter.

“The imagery in ‘Castle on the Hill’ is so vivid and nostalgic. I think everyone, old and young, gets caught up reminiscing when they listen to this song,” says Austin Brown (high tenor).

Adam Chance (baritone) adds, “I fell in love with this song because it paints such a beautiful picture for the listener. It pulls at the heartstrings and makes you nostalgic all at once. And the best part is, it’s a blast to sing.”

The viral phenomenon has had their own summer of fun as they embarked on a European tour with stops in Denmark, the Netherlands and Spain, in addition to a plethora of North American dates. Met with international acclaim, Home Free shows no signs of slowing down as they continue to bring their signature harmonies across the U.S., amassing more than 166 MILLION YouTube views (and counting) along the way.
