Hit-Makers David Hodges, Liz Rose and Tom Douglas Perform During The Bluebird Cafe Songwriter Series at Opry City Stage

The Bluebird Cafe Songwriter Series had its biggest night yet when hit-makers David Hodges, Liz Rose, accompanied by Rob Carswell, and Tom Douglas performed at Times Square’s Opry City Stage on Friday, August 24.  All three songwriters shared stories behind songs they have penned and produced for Country and pop music’s biggest stars including Taylor Swift, Little Big Town, Keith Urban, Evanescence, Christina Perri, and Kelly Clarkson.

The series continues in New York City at The Studio at Opry City Stage on Friday, September 14 with its first true “in-the-round” show with the songwriters who originated the first in-the-round at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville: Thom Schuyler and J. Fred Knobloch, along with Tony Arata and renowned harmonica player Jelly Roll Johnson.
