Grand Ole Opry To Celebrate with Birthday Bash October 7 & 8

Weekend to Include Performances by Brad Paisley, Crystal Gayle, Ricky Skaggs, and More

Opry Plaza Birthday Party to Feature Free Music Stage

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  – The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® is set to celebrate its 91st birthday on Oct. 7 & 8 with three weekend Opry shows in which country favorites will share the stage with the Opry’s birthday cake, plus a concert by country legend Crystal Gayle, backstage tours, free music on the Opry Plaza Friday evening and all day Saturday, and more.

Lee Brice, Joe Diffie, Ashley Monroe, and Ricky Skaggs are among those confirmed for Friday night, Oct. 7, while Brad Paisley and the Secret Sisters are set for Opry performances during two shows the next night, Sat., Oct. 8.

Grammy®-winner Gayle will perform during a special Opry Birthday Concert at 3:00 p.m. Saturday. An Opry Plaza Birthday Party will be bustling with food, fun, and a free music stage Friday evening and throughout the day Saturday.  Mo Pitney is scheduled to headline the Saturday free music stage beginning at 5 p.m. Among others appearing on the stage throughout the weekend are Carson Peters and Iron Mountain, Janelle Arthur, Levon, Ben & Sara, and Carly Pearce. Among others coming to the Opry and Opry Country Classics later this month are Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Montgomery Gentry, Lorrie Morgan, Old Crow Medicine Show, Marie Osmond, and Chris Young, among many others.
