Grand Ole Opry Kicks off CMA Fest Week with Star-Studded Tuesday Night Shows

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –– Grand Ole Opry members Carrie UnderwoodThe Oak Ridge Boys, Riders In The Sky, and Jeannie Seely as well as Jon Pardi, Henry Cho and rising newcomer Hannah Ellis helped the Grand Ole Opry kick off its CMA Fest week with two shows last night.

Highlights of the special “unofficial kick-off to CMA Fest” Tuesday Night Opry including Oak Ridge Boys, Pardi, and Underwood will air on Saturday, June 11 as the Saturday night Opry Live on the Opry’s television broadcast home, Circle Network, Circle All Access Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Other Opry performances scheduled this week around CMA Fest include shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Opry House plus a special ‘90s-themed matinee performance of Opry Country Classics at the Ryman Auditorium, Saturday, June 11. The special Opry Country Classics, hosted by Larry Gatlin, will feature some of the decade’s hit-makers including John Berry, The Frontmen, Mark Wills, and Spotlight Artist Sara Evans.

Among others scheduled for upcoming Opry shows are Lauren Alaina, Bill Anderson, Breland, Vince Gill, Mickey Guyton, The Isaacs, Jelly Roll, Jamey Johnson, Dustin Lynch, Ashley McBryde, Scotty McCreery, Craig Morgan, Carly Pearce, Ricky Skaggs, and Rhonda Vincent.

Free “Opry Loves the 90s” Plaza Parties will begin in early afternoon before each Friday and Saturday show. The “Opry Loves The ‘90s” Plaza Parties are sponsored by Mid-South Ford Dealers and will run through Labor Day weekend with music and activities celebrating one of the most influential decades in country music.
