Giddy Up Y’all! Jericho Rose Announces New Single, “Giddy Up”

Nashville, TN – After releasing a new single every month throughout the pandemic — a feat in itself — including the compilation album, Rear View Mirror, Jericho Rose now sets their sights on a fresh new summer hit, “Giddy Up.” The song is about playing hooky and taking a road trip to escape city confines for a little while. Laced with feel-good vibes and packed with enthralling melodies, “Giddy Up” is the perfect song for any summer playlist.

In recapping the duo’s single releases in 2020, January and February began with a bang.  Jericho Rose’s singles “Over You” and “Bad Ideas” saw multiple weeks on Spotify’s “New Music Nashville” playlist and even captured the attention of the mega-popular music blog, Country Rebel, which collaborated with the duo on a raw, acoustic video of “Bad Ideas.” March and April highlighted a more sultry and introspective side to Jericho Rose, with the upbeat romantic jam “Just Right,” and the moody ballad “Give It Back to Me.” May  saw the heavy-hitting “Desert Moonbeam,” where the duo collaborated again with Country Rebel, and released an acoustic version of this anthem, filmed by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria. June’s flirty pop track, “YOURLOVER” spent over a month on Spotify’s “New Music Nashville” playlist, the same as their funky July release “Need 2.” August saw the duo’s release, “Just Another Name,” immediately become a new fan favorite with even more hit music on the way. “Fallout” quickly enthralled listeners, closely followed by the October release “Shivers.” Both songs enjoyed a coveted spot on Spotify’s “New Music Nashville” playlist for multiple-months. The November sultry pop country jam, “Smooth Talker,” is currently on a multiple month stint on the same playlist, signifying that the duo is just getting started. Mixing clever storytelling lyrics with raw emotion, the two are paving the way for a New Wave Pop Country sound, perfectly marrying new synth sounds that harken back to 1975 along with melodies reminiscent of early Lady A.

For the entire year, Jericho Rose has bolstered every release, pairing each monthly single with new photos and visuals hitting all social media platforms; coupled with a lyric video and/or acoustic video release, further catering to the Youtube market. With Spotify streaming as the main goal, each single is pitched strategically for playlist placement. The duo is continually developing their live show with multiple upcoming Nashville dates in support of all the new music.
