Exclusive Premiere: Karli June “Still Make Cowgirls”

Pre-save “Still Make Cowgirls” here

2024 is off to an incredible start for rising country star Karli June.  Following her recent four CMA Ontario Awards nominations, including Songwriter(s) of the Year, Music Video of the Year for her single “Feel Like Home”, Female Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year, June is back with her latest single Still Make Cowgirls off her upcoming sophomore EP.  A song that’s country to the core, “Still Make Cowgirls” is not only an homage to June’s roots growing up in rural Listowel, Ontario but to every woman out there who is proud of her authentic self. Set to release across streaming platforms tomorrow, this cowgirl anthem premieres exclusively with The Country Note today.

“The track is about unapologetically being a woman who is proud of her country roots,” says Karli June. “Even if you’re not from the country, this song is for you too –  it’s about being a woman who has heart, substance, and passion – which is really what a cowgirl is.”
