With their highly anticipated album Sweet Rebellion set for release tomorrow (1/25), Country/Americana duo Blue Honey are celebrating a day early with an acoustic performance video of their current single “Can You See Me” exclusively with The Country Note.
The husband and wife duo of Troy Brooks and Kassie Jordan-Brooks had an great 2018 releasing their debut single “August Without Us” and helped raise awareness to save Music Row at the Rally the Row event in July before releasing the emotional and soul searching “Can You See Me” in October.
“‘Can You See Me’ is about someone looking for love but not understanding why love isn’t looking for them in return. That lost feeling before you finally find your happiness,” said Troy. “Love can be an emotional roller coaster even before you finally find it – happiness, misery, beautiful catastrophe,” added Kassie. “But well worth it in the end, which is why we long for it. We hope people can relate to this song and not feel alone in their journey!”

While fans have been waiting for the release of the new album, the pair are also just as anxious for all to hear it. “Sweet Rebellion is the first project we’ve done where we 100% poured our heart and soul into the songs, not worrying if we would “fit in” anywhere.
