Exclusive: Naomi Judd Discusses “Rockin’ With The Rhythm Of The Rain” Included on ‘The Judds – All-Time Greatest Hits’

Naomi. Wynonna. The Judds. The iconic mother-daughter country duo solidified their place in country music history with accolades that include five GRAMMY Awards, seven Academy of Country Music Awards, nine Country Music Association Awards, and RIAA Gold and Platinum certified albums. Holding an incredible reign on country radio from 1984-1990, The Judds ranked in twenty Top 10 hits – fourteen of which went #1.

Curb Records included each of those twenty songs on The Judds – All-Time Greatest Hits, which was released on June 30, 2017.  Because the tracks are in chronological order, fans are able to literally re-live The Judds’ career as it unfolded, ending with 2011’s “Flies on the Butter (You Can’t Go Home Again).”

Naomi discusses how the duo’s seventh number one single “Rockin’ With The Rhythm Of The Rain” helped them find their “own unique sound” during the “urban cowboy” trend of the 80’s in the video below:
