From Willie Nelson’s “Blame It On the Times” to Vern Gosdin’s “Is It Raining At Your House,” Wayne’s recordings pay tribute to those legends that inspire him to this day.
Available on June 22, Songs The Jukebox Taught Me: Volume 2 includes Del Reeves’ down-on-his-luck anthem “This Must Be The Bottom” released in 1966. “I’ve always been a fan of Del Reeves,” says Wayne. “He was a brilliant entertainer, but the songwriting team of Del and his wife, Ellen, was excellent as well.”
