ESPN3 to Stream Scott Hamilton & Friends, Hosted by Sheryl Crow, Live on November 18

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation today (11/1) announced that ESPN3 will stream Scott Hamilton & Friends, hosted by Sheryl Crow, live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on November 18 as part of ESPN’s ongoing relationship with the V Foundation.

“We are proud to bring awareness to this important event and congratulate Scott, Sheryl and the CARES team for their dedication to raising funds to find a cure for cancer,” says Kevin Martinez, Vice President, ESPN Corporate Citizenship.  “Scott’s collaboration with the V Foundation and ESPN brings together the best scientific research team and the best platform for messaging the CARES mission.”

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation and the V Foundation partnership is focused on immunology cancer research.  A 2018 Designated Grant awarded to Dr. Robert Wechsler-Reya was funded in-part by the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation.  Additional grants will be awarded through the partnership.

Scott Hamilton & Friends, hosted by cancer survivors Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton and nine-time GRAMMY Award-winner Sheryl Crow, with special guest host, Olympic Gold Medalist & Dancing with the Stars Champion Kristi Yamaguchi, will simultaneously feature live music and ice skating from the biggest names in music and figure skating. Crow will be joined on the music stage by 2x CMA & 2x ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne, Multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line, BMI “The Icon Award” winner Steve Cropper, lead singer of MercyMe Bart Millard, and guitarist from the legendary GRAMMY-nominated rock band Styx Tommy Shaw, legendary Stax recording artist/singer/songwriter Eddie Floyd,andsinger/songwriter Chelsea Field. Figure skating performances will include 2x Olympic Gold Medalists, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, Olympic Gold Medalists Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Olympic Team Bronze Medalists, Maia Shibutani and Alex ShibutaniMeagan Duhamel and Eric Radford, Olympic Team Bronze Medalist Ashley Wagner, Olympic Bronze Medalist Kaetlyn Osmond, Olympic Team Bronze Medalist Jeremy Abbott, 3x World Medalists Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, US National Champion Ryan Bradley, US National Champion Max Aaron, US International Medalist Jordan Moeller, and US Grand Prix Medalist Courtney Hicks.

The night will also include a return of the fan-favorite special performance by local skaters, who raise funds for the opportunity to perform in the show through the CARES Foundation’s Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer peer-to-peer fundraising program.
