Emily Daniels Releases Second Single “Ex on the Beach”

“I wrote “Ex on the Beach” with David Evans and Sarah Jones after a breakup when I realized the first place I would likely see my ex was at a songwriters festival in Florida a few weeks later. I imagined what it would be like if he was there with a new girl so soon. It was inspired by what I was going through, but we definitely took creative liberties with it and even made screwdrivers to drink while writing it to really get in the mood! I love that we were able to take what could have easily been a sad idea and turn it into such a fun summer song!”

Nashville, TN – Nashville Native and Country singer/songwriter Emily Daniels has released her brand new Summer single, “Ex on the Beach,” produced by Zachary Manno and is the second release from her. Available on all major music platforms.

A trained vocalist, Emily has studied with A-List Vocal Coach Renee Grant-Willams (Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill).

In Spring of 2018, Emily performed at Tin Pan South, the world’s largest songwriters festival, at a featured Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) show. In 2019, she was recognized several times by NSAI as a “Writer to Watch” and awarded Honorable Mention in their highly competitive annual Song Contest presented by CMT. Additionally, she made her national radio debut on WSM AM Opry Radio on “Nashville Today” with Devon O’Day.
