NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dugger Band, the brother duo from East Tennessee, has announced the release of its newest single, “For The Girl.” The track is featured on the pair’s sophomore album, titled East Tennessee Son (Dugger Band Music), and it is available NOW via all digital retail and streaming outlets. The corresponding music video (“For The Girl”) is slated for a world premiere on Heartland-TV (“Country Fix”Episode 210) beginning the week of August 13, 2018. (Check local listings or visit http://www.watchheartlandtv.com for air dates/times.) Filmed by Haven Media and co-produced by Jordan and Seth Dugger, alongside Paul David, the piece is poised to become the wedding flick of the season.

The sentimental tune is comprised of EDM synth swell drops with falling keynotes that set the stage for a heartfelt promise; a rambling desperado turns the page to become a better man “for the girl.” The dancing acoustic guitar bridge embraces the commitment to “the girl” who’s worth the extra mile.

“We wanted to write something from a woman’s perspective to say what every woman wants to hear. Our favorite lyric is: ‘Seeing something that I can’t when she looks into my eyes.’ It’s probably the most romantic tune we’ve written,” said Seth Dugger.

Creating an unforgettable experience “for the girl,” Dugger Band partnered with film producer Matt Hibbing (Haven Media) to shoot a picturesque fairytale wedding as a “dream come true” for one lucky lady, Ciara Gambrel.

Coming to terms surrounding the loss of the first special man in her life, her father, along with assessing the financial restraints associated with attending college as two full-time students, Ciara (who is studying to be an esthetician) and her newlywed husband, Briar Faulkner (who is attending The University of Tennessee-Knoxville working toward earning a degree in Material Science Engineering), elected to exchange vows in a simple, intimate setting. Ciara and Briar married at a courthouse in the spring of 2017 with the hope to plan for an official ceremony and celebration following graduation.

Having learned the details surrounding Ciara and Briar’s love story, Jordan and Seth Dugger became eager to make Mr. and Mrs. Faulkner’s special day a reality. In a surprise phone call, Dugger Band extended the invitation to the young couple to join them in creating a special moment—the filming of “For The Girl.”

“We had everything in place—the storyboard, film crew and location,” older brother Jordan Dugger said. “We just needed one more thing; we needed a bride and groom.”

“After hearing Ciara and Briar’s story, we knew we had found the perfect couple for the part,” added Seth. “It was a special day for all of us.”

“I fretted over the thought of not being able to share my ‘special day’ with my dad. Jordan and Seth, and Matt Hibbing gave me a newfound confidence to walk down the isle,” Ciara Gambrel continued. “Briar and I have no words to express how thankful we are for these kind gentlemen and the gesture. Because of their gracious invitation, to include us, we were able to celebrate our marriage with our friends and family, and without worry or financial concerns.”

The “For The Girl” music video was filmed at Honey Creek Farms in Dandridge TN. Other local vendors that joined Dugger Band and Haven Media to provide additional wedding essentials included: The Golden Gown (Ciara’s wedding dress) • Regal Tux (Dugger Band tuxedos) • Team Wedding TN (event coordination) • Melissa Timm Designs (flowers) • Mobile Beats Entertainment (lighting and DJ services) • Piney Rose Designs(provided vintage furniture).
